We took her to get her shots last week, and it’s getting more and more difficult now that she has an idea of what’s going on… She was fine at the ouside waiting room, but once we got to the small waiting room she knew that staying there was a really bad idea and kept [...]

More Bubbles

Lorelai seems to have this idea that instead of going to MyGym, we are supposed to go out and play with bubbles and the slide every Saturday morning… I guess we shouldn’t complain, at least it’s free :)

Lorelai & Bubbles

Since we are not doing MyGym anymore, we had to be more creative on weekends to keep Lorelai busy. I guess it’s not that hard to keep her entertained, all we had to do was to go outdoors :) She has fun just doing whatever is outside, but it sure does tire both of us [...]

Lorelai & the Lego-ish Blocks
March 6th, 2009 · 4 Comments
We got these last week from ToysRUs since Lorelai is starting to get bored with her old toys. Right now she’s loving these blocks, and she LOLs like crazy when everything crashes and blocks fly everywhere. Does that mean she’s going to like explosions, things blowing up, and cars crashing when she grows up?

Bye-Bye MyGym
March 6th, 2009 · No Comments
We’ve decided to take a break from the weekly MyGym classes, in part to stimulate our wallets, and also we think Lorelai is old enough now that we can just take her out and see people for free :) Febuary was the last month of MyGym, and Lorelai had fun there. Bye-bye!

The elevators were manned (or should I say, womanned) with girls in uniforms bowing and asking which floors you would like to go as you enter in high [...]

Our night adventures into the local night street markets were as fun as we had expected. Lots of good food that I was fond of when I was a kid, and some of them I haven’t heard of. Mom and Dad took us to their favor stinky tofu place, and both Jeannie & I agreed [...]

Taiwan Trip, Part 3

After a long day, hot pot was consumed by all. They sell thinly sliced frozen meat specifically just for hot pots at Costco here in Taiwan. And being the meat lover that he is, my dad bought packs of beef, pork, and lamb, Costco size! We attempted to finish them all but obviously failed. Lorelai [...]

Taiwan Trip, Part 2

Lorelai & Emma (my brother Ryan’s daughter who’s 4 month older than Lorelai) have been looking at and talking to each other on Skype for a while every week. It was nice for them to finally meet in person. They had tons of fun together and are now BFFs (although Lorelai does take advantage of [...]
