We had got cheap pet clippers before (2 of them, in fact), and they just generally don’t work that well. They can’t really cut through long hair that well and the pets get annoyed since it’s taking so long. I finally just got fed up and got a good professional one (and if you add up the costs of the 2 previous ones, it’s almost as much as the professional one). Anyway long story short, this new clipper is pretty awesome – kind of what I imagined a proper clipper should do.

So check out Stinky’s new hairdo – Stink-Ba Style. I had tried it several times with old clippers and failed, but it’s pretty easy to do with this new one:

Well not too long after, some other dogs showed up so we had to leash him up, otherwise he would just run over to chase and bark at them. Even leashed up, he still barked like the half-man that he is.

To calm him down, we put our little tripod on him so that he would feel useful.

Us: “ok…” (GOD DAMNIT!)

So today I got a call today with the results : “Stinky’s blood work looks perfectly ok, he’s healthy, nothing to worry about.”  GOD DAMNIT.  We just spent $100 to learn that our cat is skinny, thanks!

Ok, we got the preferable result that we wanted, but complaining about it makes us feel just a tiny bit better about the $100 down the drain.

Anyway, Toothpick is staying overnight at the Vet for his IV injections since he lost too much water. We will be picking him up after work tomorrow. Poor guy, he was scared and shaking when I visited him after work today:

Well, judging from the title of this post, you can probably tell how it went. Doing paperworks is just purely no fun at all, it’s very demoralizing on your weekend. To cheer myself up, I took a series of “breaks” to re-energize myself for the dounting task ahead…

Break 1:
Before I even started, we decided to take Toothpick out to the park so he could run around like a crazy dog that he is since it was pretty nice out.

Well, after all these “breaks”, it’s not surprising that I didn’t finish doing any of the tax stuff (didn’t even get started actually), but I did somehow manage to finish the Green Card stuff.  Better luck next weekend I guess…
