Fiona’s Baby Shower

Wife Jeannie and friend Joyce planned a cool baby shower for my cousin Fiona at Pasadena last weekend, and everyone had lots of fun. It was great seeing Fiona and we can’t wait to meet the new baby girl in about 1 month!

We went to get our 2nd ultrasound the other day and everything looks good! All on schedule.

Although I am not quite sure what the ultrasound tech is trying to say with these captions here… :)

The Latest (and Final) Addition to Our Family

In case you are not in our circle of rumor mills (really, who isn’t?), we would like to let you know that we are expecting our baby #2 this summer, right around Lorelai’s birthday! We (not including me) have decided to keep this pregnancy quiet up to this point, but we (including me) are now ready to let people in on the big news! And for those asking, yes, this will be the last one, for sure.

We went to the doctors Tuesday for the ultrasound, and everything looks good so far. Here are some shots (1st one is from last Nov.):

Yes, it’s a boy! Now the process of name picking can start… So far the following names have been suggested by me: Maximus, Xavier, Luke, Logan, Anakin. Strong names they are! What do you think?

OK, I was just kidding with those names… (plus they were all vetoed.)

Congrats to Teddy & Tiffany on their new arrival – Terran! He was such a nice boy and was delivered on 12/2/2008 in under 1 hour! That must be some kind of record!

Lorelai’s MyGym Activities

Last night we rushed home from work just trying to make one of Lorelai’s MyGym classes during the week. Rushing back was tiring, but staying in class with her for an hour was even more tiring! She didn’t really want to follow directions and just went around in her own way. After we got home I think I literally passed out on the floor for a 15 minute power nap.

Funny Faces, Cops, and Johnny Rockets

We took it easy after the trip since we were all dead tired. Thursday we went out for a little lunch in the neighborhood and Lorelai made these funny faces:

Then met some cops chatting at the side of the road so Jeannie decided to go and ask for a picture with them:

Friday we went to the newly opened Johnny Rockets here in Chino Hills (it was the 1st time for both Lorelai & me). Lorelai made more funny faces and enjoyed some fries and shake while I enjoyed their Smoke House Burger:

MyGym Week 2

She had even more fun this week, and was choosen as a model by the teacher! She was scared of the bars though.

Lorelai’s 1st MyGym Class

Lorelai is such an energetic baby that she usually only takes 1 hour naps (if we are lucky). Now that Jeannie has some free time during the summer, we decided that it would be a good idea to take her to the local MyGym class to play around and burn some of those excess energy off.

She had lots of fun for about an hour, then came straight home and took a 3-hour nap. Guess that’s a good sign eh? :)

Lorelai’s Birthday Cake Shoot

Another weekend gone! Time sure goes by fast. We didn’t really get to do much this weekend, again, and spent most of the time taking naps and in front of the TV. To motivate ourselves to get off the sofa, Jeannie suggested that we take some pictures of Lorelai destroying her 1st Birthday cake. Sounds like a fun idea, and it was fun doing it.
