We totally forgot that the Oscars were this past weekend, and watched none of it.  We heard that Slumdog won a bunch, but other than that we don’t really know what happened.  Did we miss much?

On Saturday we took both Lorelai and Toothpick out to the park to get some outdoors and tried to fly a pretty cool kite that we got from Costco.  But bad luck because there was no wind, so we ended up running around the park trying to get the kite up and gave up after a couple of tries as we got too winded…  Toothpick was really happy though since it’s probably his first outings with us for more than a year!  LOL…

On Sunday, we watched Ip Man, 葉問, the story of Bruce Lee’s teacher. (Thanks to my brother Ryan for lending us the movie!)  What a good martial arts movie!  I’ve seen a bunch of these kind of movies before, but the fighting scenes are just great and gives you a satisfying sensation as you watch it.  Awesome I say!  Definitely watch it if you can get your hands on it!
