We spent most of our weekend glued to the TV watching live coverage of the fire. The fire spread so fast this time that it’s just scary, and we were just too scared to go anywhere. Check out this fire map over the weekend, what a mess!
Yesterday we went out and drove around to see just how close the fire was. All of the Chino Hills state park was charred! Houses a mile away from us were evacuated. My boss, who lived in Yorba Linda, was also evacuated from their house over the weekend. Scary! Thankfully the Chino Hills side seems to be under control. For the latest update, check this map.
