Not too long ago we discovered that we had a new neighbor in our backyard, which we later named Butt. And for the most of last week, we tried to check on her but couldn’t find her - we were kinda worried/disappointed that something might have happened to her. Then yesterday, we saw 2 little beaks pointing out of the little nest, with Butt standing guard on top of a tree.
Of course we had to come up with names for the new arrivals. I’ll give you 2 guesses. Ready? Here are the new additions, Left Cheek & Right Cheek.
And here’s the feeder that I had mentioned before. Hopefully it’s making their lives easier.
06-09-2008 Update:
Well, all 3 Butts are gone :( I guess the baby Butts are old enough and took off. We haven’t seen them around for 3 days. Good luck, Butts!
