We had a crazy sandstorm this whole weekend at Chino Hills, with stuff all blown out of whack in the backyard, and sand everywhere by the doors and windows - it’s just crazy. I tried to go out to the backyard to pick something up but got sand in my eyes within 3 seconds, not very fun.
We did tried to go out and drive around in the car though. First we went to look at some million dollar houses at Chino Hills (did you know there are lots of them here?) with its own private golf course, so yeah, we are going to move in next month. The housing development is mostly not done yet, with lots of “dirt” landscaping, but I am sure it’s going to look very nice in the future. However, most of the “cheap” models have a really small backyard and not a lot of room (cheap meaning ~ $1 Million) and only the custom models have room enough for a private pool, which will cost you $2~3 Million.
We then drove to some new housing developments at Orange (Riverbend), which is much much closer to my work, and within 1 mile of Fry’s (a big plus). I liked the houses, and their prices are OK, but the neighborhood really sucked. So I guess that’s totally out of the picture.
In a totally unrelated matter, took some pictures of Lorelai having a bath. She’ll be a swimmer someday:

P.S. Please excuse my massive typo (now hopefully fixed). It was late last night and I was half asleep…
