Stopped by Yogurt Land near my work today since Jeannie was craving some of them frozen sour yogurt. For those who don’t know, Yogurt Land is kind of a cheaper knock off version of Pink Berry, which seems to be really popular lately. I am not really a frozen sour yogurt kind of guy, so I just get the flavored ones, but Jeannie is a big fan of the original sour.
Well, I have never been to a Pink Berry, although they are going to open one soon at Chino Hills, and plus I am not really a big fan of frozen sour yogurt, so I am not really qualified to do a good comparison. But from what I have hear, here are the Pros & Cons of Yogurt Land:
Pro:
Self-serve, cheaper (you get charged by weight), a lot of flavors, much closer to Orange County, and oh, did I mention it’s a lot cheaper?
Cons:
The store isn’t as fancy (as you can even tell by their websites), was told that the original isn’t as good (but very close), and when I was there today some of the yogurt machines weren’t in tip-top shape (understandable since it’s self-serve and everyone uses them).
So if you don’t feel like going through crazy LA traffic to get some yogurt and you are in the area, you might want to give it a try. I say you probably get 85%~90% of the taste for 2/3 of the price.

The original store to start out the Yogurt craze, was Red Mango. Pinkberry is another copy cat.
Yogurtland is awesome, which there are so many flavors to choose from and its alot lot cheaper than anywhere else and taste great too. Hey there is one coming in Chino Hills off of Chino Hills Pkwy and 71 freeway…….can’t wait to go to that one.
Peace

Really? Cool, haven’t heard about that one. There are already 4 or 5 yogurt places in Chino Hills. I guess 1 more won’t hurt :)
