We watched The Illusionist the other day (I think it was the 1st or 2nd day it came out on DVD) since I had originally wanted to go watch it in the theater, and both Jeannie and I liked it very much. Jeannie commented that it’s one of the best movies that we have seen for a while, and I had to agree, since we have been watching a lot of crappy movies on DVDs lately… (I just got Snakes on the [MFing] Plane, is that a crap movie too?) LOLz.

Anyway, it’s a well-told love story done with the French background and using the illusions/magics as the prop. Chicks will definitely like it with its love story, and guys will like it for the illusions and some of the story’s cleverness. Either way, it’s a win-win situation for couples.

I do feel that I am obligated to disclose that I likely have a man crush on Edward Norton, since I found him to be a really good actor and have liked most of the movies that he was in.
