One of the COOL things living in a home association is that you get to pay an unreasonable amount of money to get a community gate that anyone without a remote can get in, AND you get TOLD to paint your house a certain color every once a while. We were so excited when we got the letter telling us to do just that! Needless to say that’s going to cost us lots of beans to just get the damn thing painted (we are supposed to paint all wood trims white). So here comes our DIY project #2.

So on Sat., we started doing the painting thing outside, in Chino Hills, in the Summer, in 104 degree cloudless weather, fun fun fun! Then we did it again today! Both of us got a nice farmer’s tan while sweating like a biatch. And guess what, we are only about half way done! I guess it’s going to be continued next weekend, or maybe just this week after work to avoid the freaking sun.

I am hoping that this whole thing will be done before next weekend so we can actually do some relaxing.
