So:
- Transmission blown, but still under warranty at 85k miles. My $1,200 extended warranty goes to 100k miles.
- It would have costed me $4,500 without warranty.
- Acura first thought only the transmission was bad when my 1st transmission was blown
- Acura found out later that the CL onboard computer is also causing the transmission failure
- They think it’s ok to not tell people since it’s probably cheaper
- I could’ve died. Oh well, they are giving me a new transmission and a new computer controller
- Car should be ready sometime this week
