What difference did a year make!  Looking at last year’s pictures (here) Lorelai was so baby-like.  We don’t notice it seeing her everyday, but she’s changed so much this year!  We went to Tanaka Farms again, but this time with Lance and Lorelai’s cousins.  It was so tiring for us.  All of our joints hurt after we got home, but it was fun :)

Been busy and tired as usual all the time.  Here are some home shots of us doing the everyday things.

Work has been kicking my butt lately, and with the addition of Lance, we are just super duper tired all the time.  And when we have free time, we just want to go to sleep…  But there’s some hope that the work will ease up soon, and we will be able to relax a little bit sometimes.

Last night Jeannie was peeling some garlic and Lorelai kept asking if she can eat it =D  Being a cool dad that I am, I said sure!  Here’s what happened:

Jack:
Work has been brutal lately for me.  I don’t even know how I got to have so many things piled up so fast.

Jeannie:
Joined Facebook!  Be my friend!  I just had a CT Scan yesterday and will find out if I have hernia on Friday :(

Lorelai:
Food!  Candy!  Play!  Dora!  Boots!  MORE!!!

Lance:
Me hungry!  But me no want eat!  Just hold me damnit!

Turns out having a newborn + a 2-year-old is a lot harder than having a newborn alone. We are dead tired… I will be attempting to go through some old pictures and try to update them when time permits.

We have a renewed love of sleeping, again.

Garrett & Jain were in town and we had a chance to meet them up for dinner!  We haven’t seen each other since Kerwin’s wedding, and that was ages ago.  We decided to drop the kids off at the grandparents’ since we don’t really want to scare/annoy people off with crying babies, and what a nice time we had!  So quiet :)

Bye-bye Grandma!  We’ll miss you!

Lots people, lots food.  Lance is 1 month old now and is already 2x in weight!  Thanks to everyone who came and joined us!

One of Lorelai’s favor activities was to go out and play with our community playground with Grandma, since that’s when we were still able.  Not anymore though after Grandma left :(  Lorelai misses Grandma and the slide!
