For those who didn’t know, I was rear-ended by a 21-year-old last week while driving home from work.  It was not a big deal, the bumper was dented and it was a big hassle dealing with insurance, but it was all figured out and we didn’t have to pay anything.  Anyway, the insurance is paying for my Enterprise rental while the car is getting fixed.

So last night I was driving home in traffic (clearly under the speed limit) and a cop behind me started flashing his light.  I was like: “Really?  What the hell did I do?”

So it turned out that Enterprise rented me a car without the proper registration sticker on it.  And the cop had to issue ME a Fix-It ticket.  Now I have to get a copy of the registration and MAIL IT IN FOR ENTERPRISE!  What the hell is going on?  Gee THANKS ENTERPRISE!  I guess I am just experiencing a string of bad luck?  Let it pass soon?

Time goes by so fast…  I thought Lorelai was just born, but now in less than 1 month she’s going to be 2!  Looking at her last year’s pictures, she certainly has changed a lot, although to us watching her everyday, the change doesn’t seem as much.

So to celebrate this grand day, we have gathered up all of our gold jewelry and sent it to a foundry to melt it down to make it a solid piece of gold “2″ for her.  This thing weights a ton (literally!) and took the foundry a couple of weeks to make it.  Just look at the size of it, it’s marvelous!  Of course we took pictures of it (and Lorelai)!

Yesterday after work we took Lorelai out to play since there was still light out after work.  Since we got this 2nd hand bike, we thought we just put her on and push her around even though she’s still too little to reach the paddles.  She had tons of fun riding it, but geez it sure was difficult running while you are bend at 90 degrees!

And of course, she had so much fun that she cried and didn’t want to go back in :) (Jeannie insisted that Lori needs to be fully armed!)

2 weeks ago we took Lorelai to see some dinosaurs at the LA Museum.  She wasn’t too fond of them since she tried to run away from the teeth.  We also tried to take her to see the guy inside the dinosaur suit (I guess it’s kinda like a show), but it wasn’t that great.  They roped people off and basically talked about it while the person inside the suit walked around.  I was hoping to at least get a picture of Lori with him, but that didn’t happen.

Outside they had a butterfly tent for people to go in and look at some butterflies.  Extra charge, but whatever.  We went in and Lorelai had fun chasing them around and yelling at us to look :)

I don’t really know what we have been so busy about at home, since it feels like we really haven’t been doing much lately, so it must have been that both of us are really super busy at work lately that we just didn’t feel like doing much after we get home.

Now that Jeannie’s summer break is getting close, it is finally giving us a little bit of breathing room until the baby comes!  I finally went through some pictures and here’s the 1st set: Lorelai’s Bubble Bath, which happened almost 2 months ago!  Geez, I sure have been slacking off on this blog…

Is it just me and does this season seems super short?  Very annoying cliff hanger of a season finale.  I guess we’ll get all the answers next year…

Survivor

We’ve never been so happy of having Jeannie’s guy getting voted off ever since we started watching the show!  Coach… What a ridiculously stupid guy!  But I have to say he’s funny though, made us LOL all night.  We were super glad that he’s finally off even though it meant that Jeannie lost.  I guess we’ll find out who’s the winner this Sunday!
